Sneaking away for some fly fishing while cruising / touring Alaska. Catching pink salmon outside Haines and chasing grayling outside Fairbanks. Even when the catching is modest, the fishing is great here. In addition to how to DIY it from Skagway (cruise ship port) to Haines on the fast ferry, includes some floatplane, orca, humpback, glacier, Denali and bear footage. The bears fished along-side us for 30 minutes while at Haines.

Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers close out the 2023 Rocky Mountains Road Trip with a swing through Rocky Mountain National Park outside Estes Park, Colorado. Fishing the Big Thompson River near Cub Lake trailhead for browns and brooks and the incomparable Loch Vale for greenback cutthroats.

Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers and friends continue the 2023 road trip into the Jackson Hole / Grand Teton National Park area. Camping at Gros Ventre campground and fishing the Snake River braids at Schwabacher Landing and the Gros Ventre River near the campground and in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

A group of Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers and friends make the annual pilgrimage through some of the best fly fishing spots in the Rocky Mountains. This video covers the Yellowstone National Park leg of the trip with fishing at Soda Butte, Slough Creek, and Sentinel Creek and also provides an overview of the hikes into Slough Creek (campsites 2S2 and 2S1) and Sentinel Meadows (campsite OG-1).

Virginia's own Trout Bandit was kind enough to allow some Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers to tag along on his trip to Cleveland in pursuit of Lake Erie steelhead.

The Club president pulls in the big fish during a late Fall run up to the Salmon River.

Camping, hiking, and fly fishing in select Rocky Mountains locations, to include SW Montana (Madison River), Yellowstone National Park (Grayling Creek, Ice Lake, Slough Creek), Henry's Fork, and the Jackson Hole area (GTNP and Bridger-Teton National Forest). Plenty of fish, but the highlights were moose, goats, bears, and pelicans in the fishing areas.

Members of the Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers are joined by other like-minded anglers for fishing in Colorado, Yellowstone, and SW Montana. Waterdale Ranch, the Big Thompson, Loch Vale, Cascade Lake (YNP), the Upper Yellowstone, Gibbon Meadows, Slough Creek, the Madison River, O'Dell Spring Creek, and Hebgen Lake.

50 carp day with some smallmouth as a bonus with brother Phil. All top water and Cicada flies.

Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers road trip through the Rocky Mountains in pursuit of rainbows, browns, brookies, and cutthroats. Stops include Rocky Mountain National Park, Jackson Hole / Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and the Madison River outside Ennis, Montana.

Falmouth Flats Fly Fishers travel to northern Minnesota to canoe, camp, and fly fish in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) for smallmouth bass and pike. Just to round out the trip, we made stops at the Driftless (Wisconsin) and Tippecanoe (Indiana) on the way home - because you can never have too much fly fishing.

A brief hike in to Grizzly Lake for a couple of hours of non-stop, top water brook trout action.
