Had some good luck fishing for Bluefin Tuna here in Cape Cod at a family reunion. Two of my sons, one of their significant others, and I went out yesterday in hopes of finding something catchable. At the first place we tried, they were too big (300 to 500 pounds). At the second place further south they were just right (100 to 200 pounds). Casting large plugs with heavy spinning gear I finally hooked a 67-inch long, 48-inch girth beauty. The online weight estimator says about 188 pounds. Wish I'd brought my 10-wt, but then I'd still be out there fighting him. It took three of us about 20 minutes to land it on 80-pound line. Next time I'll have to bring a heavier rod!
