Skipped work and the kids and made it out on Monday and what a day. Caught fish at the best time of the year!! I got a real nice 14" brookie, color on it was awesome. I wish I could be out everyday. The water was low, alot of flat water but the holes were great and I pulled fish out of all of them. I was the only soul on the river and what a breath of fresh air that was. Sometimes I get sick of seeing people.

Did you fish on top or under water?

Scott Moore and I fished Jeremy's Run yesterday(9/23/13) from the top side. Water was way to low and fish were few and far between. However, the ones that showed were eager to eat and wanted the fly on the large size. ( For you saltwatwer types, a #12 beetle is large in the mountains.)
